That's Why They Call It Beta
 I've been playing around with Froogle, the latest offering from Web polymath Google. Querying with the term coffee grinder gave delightful results, just what a buyer would like to know when first surveying the universe of available products.
I need to poke around a little bit more to figure out how Google has tweaked its ranking algorithm to generate the results. Clearly, there's more at work here than just counting outbound links to Web storefronts. And searching on PVR (for personal video recorder) doesn't bring up TiVo at all.
Froogle is a clever pun, no?
